A champion of cultural diversity, inclusion and intersectionality for over 20 years, Wesa played an active role in pushing our party to increase representation and bring a distinct level of expertise in diversity, community and leadership.

Wesa had previously served on the Victorian Government Ministerial Council for Women’s Equality, and worked to ensure intersectional thinking in women policies. As a candidate for Prahran in the 2022 state election and currently Prahran branch president, she played a leading role to engage with communities both in Prahran and across Victoria.

Wesa was named Young Victorian of the Year 2010, inductee to the Victorian Women Honour Roll 2012 and Finalist for Agenda Setter of the Year 2016.
